Another Bad Idea Coming to Broadway

So earlier in the day I posted some shit about Shrek coming to Broadway and how I wasn't sure if it would work- and that there are too many movie turned musicals already- and they all suck.

Well let's add this gem to the bunch:

REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES, A MUSICAL (workshop): "This is a musical version of the award-winning stage play and feature film, REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES. This workshop presentation is specifically for New York investors and other interested parties toward the end of a full production in 2009."

Just a note to New York investors- SAVE YOUR MONEY- THERE'S A RECESSION A'COMIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously- this is so fucking stupid- I know that there are probably about a million original ideas out there- so why do we have to recycle everything. Now- I'm not dissing the movie (the struggle of the Big Girl will always have a sincere place in my heart)- but I am dissing the lack of creativity out there.
